He obtained the degree of Bachelor of Laws from Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi after graduating in Arts from Kurukshetra University, Haryana. He has completed 26 years of his illustrious legal profession after having commenced the Legal Practice in the year 1983 in the chambers of Late Sh. K.R.Nagraj, Former Additional Advocate General for the State of Karnataka at the Hon’ble Supreme Court. Whereafter he started independent practice in 1986, which now spreads over in varying fields viz. service law, constitutional law, criminal law, land acquisition laws, environmental law, taxation and company laws before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, various High Courts including of Karnataka, Bombay, Punjab and Haryana, Foreign Exchange Regulation Appellate Board, National Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission & Other Judicial Forums.
He also represents various constituents of the Government, i.e
Senior Panel (Group- A) Counsel for Union of India in the Supreme Court,
Senior Panel (Group- A) Counsel for Union of India in the High Court of Delhi,
Senior /Nodal Counsel for Union Public Service Commission,
Senior Counsel for Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited,
Senior Counsel for Karnataka State Financial Corporation, and
Senior Counsel for Indian Tourism Development Corporation.
He is an active Member of the Indian Council of Arbitration and also the member legal in the Advisory Committee, Education Promotion Society for India. He had in the past served as a Counsel for Lok Sabha Secretariat, State Election Commission, Delhi State Cooperative Bank and Delhi Energy Development Agency.
